Data

Blah, blah, blah. I scored low points. Meh. I failed out of Tech and still make more than you. Blah.

Sorry, the tie with Harv confused me. No confusion about the news. It was my lowest scoring week, and I have the highest point total. Go figure.

This news made possible by Cody's bench.

Tech's looking good right about now. Why did Attaouchu hit that dude just now?

In the spirit of innovation, I bring you another first. Full historical stats from 1994 through week 9 of 2011. 17 1/2 years of MLFF goodness. Hope you enjoy.

Points For
I start with the granddaddy. All-time points for. There's a reason that Mod, Leeds, and Rock are called the big three and the evidence is right here. As Jerm would say, Bam! I dropped my drawers and there it is. Over 15,000 glorious points. It is important to note that Grady has one less season than the original gangstas.

Adjusted Points For
Alright, crybabies. I know what you're saying. It's not fair that I have played fewer seasons. Here is the super-granddaddy, adjusted points for. This not only takes into account the number of seasons each team has played but also adjusts for the early years scoring system. I have thrown out 1994 since we only had 8 teams. Take it easy, chief, I won that season.

More of the same at the very top. Whoopation. Except Egyptian moves into second place ahead of Leeds. My how the plot thickens. Munich brings up the rear. I was surprised to see Polish and Donora below the line of demarcation.

Wins
Wins is a whole different ballgame. One where luck reigns supreme. And where there's luck, Leeds is sure to be there. Some say luck is a product of hard work. I say check the schedule maker. Leeds is the closest thing the league has seen to a dynasty so kudos is due there. That was very hard to type. This is unadjusted BTW.

Detailed season scores by team
I thought it would be cool to show you all of the scores. League champions scored 10% greater than average points during their winning season compared to all other teams. No team has won the triangle while scoring less than the average amount of points.

Distribution of points and wins
The '97 champion Heroes are still by far and away the best team the league has ever seen. Priest and their 1,123 points set the standard for points in a season. Josh pushed the boundaries for wins at 14, which I do not think will be matched anytime soon.

Luck Factor
The luck factor gripe is legitimate. The below compares wins to points for. Josh and Harv lead the list as expected.

Other notables
-The stat story can't be complete without mention of Seth's 128 points in week 11 of 2007.
-Brad has the most points against by far at 14,375.

Points For Histogram
One season over 1,100. Median is 850.
